UHRA Priorities

In UHRA Blog 2 we detailed items included in our submission for HRNSW Strategic Plan 2021-2023. For transparency we detail our THREE TOP PRIORITY ISSUES:

Field Selection ( HRNSW proposed change to Victorian Points System)

HRNSW asked HRICG for comment on this proposal. HRICG met 11th November and discussed a previous request by HRNSW to comment on COVID Prizemoney Reduction to $10,000 for two races where after HRICG undertook extensive Industry consultation it reached a unanimous position.

The HRICG position was basically ignored. In this particular instance UHRA suggested HRNSW contact ALL Trainers who in turn can contact Owners and can forward comments to HRNSW. HRICG will respond to HRNSW along these lines.

One factor to consider here is the Logistics and Demographics within other States when comparing to NSW.

Striding Out

Last Friday some 45 racehorses and prospective racehorses owned by Emilio and Maria Rosati rolled out of the Menangle Training Centre bound for Victoria. Shame , Shame, Shame …….
